WHO

Our board is composed of members chosen for their professional skills and commitment to the 3HO values and lifestyle. The board’s mission is to guarantee the integrity of the 3HO heritage through the different events, projects, and evolution of 3HO Europe. The board members contribute their time as seva (a volunteer basis).

Anyone called to serve our organisation can contact us via email to know more about what serving as a board member implies. The potential member 's application is considered by the existing board and then submitted to the board of Siri Singh Sahib Corporation. Once a prospective board member’s appointment is confirmed by SSSC, the board member will serve on the 3HO Europe board for a determined amount of time which is decided upon when joining the board, usually 2 years.

The Siri Singh Sahib Corporation (SSSC) is the ultimate parent entity of the Siri Singh Sahib’s (Yogi Bhajan’s heritage for profit and nonprofit organizations).

WHAT

The 3HO Europe board meets every month to align the vision that 3HO EUROPE wants to carry, the actions of its CEO, the follow-up of those of the EYF management team as well as the management of its different assets.

WHEN

The Board of Directors is bound by the statutes of the SSSC, to which it is linked, like all other parents non-profit organisations. The SSSC has no direct influence on the management and actions of 3HO Europe.

Every year 3HO Europe receives a grant from the SSSC along with all other non-profit organizations. This grant is derived from revenues generated by the organization’s for-profit entities and is redistributed to the non-profits according to their needs. In case of any divergence from SSSC’s integrity or mission, the SSSC board will communicate with the leadership of 3HO Europe.

WHERE

The SSSC is an Oregon nonprofit religious organization that oversees the numerous for-profit and nonprofit organizations created through the inspiration of Yogi Bhajan.

WHY

Why is the SSSC a religious entity? SSSC was formed as a nonprofit religious corporation in part to be the successor to Yogi Bhajan in his role as Siri Singh Sahib. SSSC’s status as a religious organization does not imply that its related organizations must also serve a religious mission.

I was raised as a Sikh in the 3HO community since my mother joined when I was a small boy in 1974. This community of kind and spiritually minded people has nurtured and supported me throughout my life. It is now my honor to offer my humble service to nurture and sustain the organization in turn.

Sarabjit Kaur

I am one of the first pioneers of Kundalini Yoga in Spain. Born in California I was sent by Yogi Bhajan to Barcelona in 1979 then to Madrid 1988. I am a level 1 and 2 lead trainer and have served my Kundalini community by serving as the vice president of the Spanish Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association, chairwoman of the European Khalsa Council and presently on the board of 3HO Europe.

I was introduced to 3HO in 1999 by a fortunate stroke of serendipity, having been a practising Sikh for many decades it was a welcome gift. I was inspired by the work of the many wonderful people at 3HO and knew one day that I would join them, fast forward 2 decades and an opportunity arose to join the board. I am honoured to have been accepted and I am keen to support the community and we drive forth macro systematic structural change that the world urgently needs.

Having grown up in the Sikh religion, the foundations of selfless service and devotion have been instilled in Harsimar since birth. He discovered Kundalini yoga and meditation when he was 21 and the teachings completely changed his life. Harsimar became a certified kundalini yoga teacher in 2016 and has been dedicated to teaching ever since. He brings a wealth of experience in real estate, business development, and marketing to 3HO Europe. Harsimar has a deep love for the European Yoga Festival, where he enjoys connecting and engaging with the vibrant community.

Since discovering Kundalini Yoga and Sikh Dharma in 2002, my journey has been a transformative path of personal growth and learning. With a diverse background in business, leadership, organizational development, and over two decades of experience teaching Kundalini Yoga and music, I offer a unique blend of spiritual wisdom and practical expertise.
As a dedicated leader, I am committed to fostering positive change and empowering socially responsible organizations and leaders. My leadership roles at LEVEL 108, the Makaal Group, and as a CFO, alongside management consulting with Big Four professional services firms, have honed my skills and fueled my passion for driving innovation and enhancing community well-being.
Currently serving on the board of 3HO Europe, I actively support community initiatives such as the European Yoga Festival, enriching lives through spiritual and yogic practices that promote our core values of health, happiness, and global community service.

Sat Shakti Kaur

3HO Europe Project Manager

A long-time Kundalini practitioner, Sat Shakti has been teaching since 2007. She is a KRI-certified teacher and trainer. She’s the founder and director of JOY Yoga, a kundalini yoga studio based in London. She co-created the JOY Meditation app (formerly available on the App Store).
A former ballet dancer, Sat Shakti has a background in business and the arts. She has 20 years’ experience working with nonprofit organizations in management and development.
Integrating Kundalini into her life, enabled her to heal a debilitating back injury. She especially loves to share the teachings of Kundalini Yoga because of its profound capacity to heal and transform.
