A Wind of Change

We have been striving for more transparency, inclusion and horizontality in our way of working. We are continuously engaged in these changes at a local level, but we are also actively involved in different committees within the SSSC, such as the Human Rights Committee, the Compassionate Reconciliation Committee and IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity,Education & Access)
It is an enthralling adventure to be committed to being fully in tune with the conscience of the Aquarian Age.

In 2020 along with the shock of the pandemic, the global 3HO communities faced painful allegations of abuse by Yogi Bhajan.

These allegations unleashed a wave of reports about the early days of our foster schools. While most of them came from our American community, some were experienced by our European youth. All of this hit hard at the community as a whole and created a deep polarisation.

Three years have passed and here we are in the great change that is taking place on many levels around the world: to be conscious beings, able to question and challenge ourselves.This is not without difficulty but the practice of yoga and meditation pushes us to go beyond our limits.To see further by accepting what is near, to see the light in the dark and to embrace this transition without being attached.The age of Aquarius is on the way and with it new paths to lead our lives.

We are committed to work toward positive change and healing the tensions and conflicts that the community has or is experiencing. We welcome and invite your assistance and participation in creating new beginnings and visioning the future for our global yogic and dharmic communities.
