"Master Your Mind,
Elevate Your Spirit"
In 1997 Yogi Bhajan founded Miri Piri Academy in Amritsar, India, with the mission to offer an educational programme with the values of integrity and spirituality, combined with a strong sense of self.
The equilibrium between Miri (material) and Piri (spirituality) is encompassed in the school’s curriculum. The days alternate between spiritual practices such as meditation, yoga, learning classical instruments and chanting, sports and a rigorous academic programme aligned with the UK based Cambridge International Examination (CIE) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
Nestled near the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Miri Piri Academy stands out as a one of a kind educational institution. Blending the traditions of Kundalini yoga, Sikh dharma, and expeditionary learning, MPA offers students a unique opportunity for conscious growth in body, mind, and spirit. Our well-rounded program encompasses a variety of activities to foster creativity, physical prowess, academic excellence, spiritual knowledge, confidence, and interpersonal skills. At MPA, we are dedicated to cultivating an environment that promotes individual development through shared practices and a dharmic lifestyle.
Welcoming students from grades 5 to 12, our school caters to a diverse community, encompassing both local and international students. Rooted in Sikh principles, our educational approach seamlessly integrates Kundalini Yoga into our academic curriculum, aligning with the esteemed Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) system from the United Kingdom.
