A holistic practice
Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is a holistic practice that includes physical movement in yoga postures, breath techniques, sound, mantra, and meditation. It is a yoga for anyone and everyone – regardless of age or level of physical ability. Kundalini Yoga particularly focuses on strengthening the nervous system and balancing the glandular (endocrine) system, to enable us to meet the challenges of the times, and to stay in high spirits.
Kundalini Yoga, the yoga of consciousness. Known for its transformative effects, it strengthens the nervous system through its particular combinations of exercises. Numerous scientific studies have proven the effectiveness of its daily practice in improving addiction problems and cognitive disorders.
Linked to the teachings of Sikhism by its creator Yogi Bhajan, who was a Sikh, Kundalini Yoga brings a spiritual dimension that is unparalleled in the world of Yoga as practiced in the West. The use of sound (naad) in the form of devotional chanting is an integral part of a class that always consists of exercise, meditation and relaxation.
Kundalini Yoga is a practice that has a place in the modern world where the demands of a busy and exacting lifestyle challenge us.
The aim in this practice is to grow in consciousness, and to crystalize the Self. In short, to unfold the true potential inside.
“What is the Kundalini? The creative potential of the man.“
Through movement, breath and meditation, it connects you back to the Sat Naam in you – the True Identity – and in this way, in connection with your uplifted Spirit, you can more fully walk your path in life.

Kundalini Yoga is a yoga for the ‘householder’ – for ‘normal people’ with jobs, families, and the pressures of daily life. It does not ask you to become an ascetic and live in a mountain cave. Rather, it gives you the inner tools to meet the demands of daily life. Yogi Bhajan frequently said: “happiness is your birthright”. These teachings help us to process the stresses of daily life and return to our naturally blissful state.
