3HO Europe Helps Ukraine
This first step in the humanitarian aid world has inspired us to continue.
We went with a heart full to see what we could do not knowing what to expect.
Everyone is needed to help one another.
So far with the help of our organisations and Sangat partners we have raised $50.000.
Sikh Dharma International,The SSSC, The Malaysian Sangat, 3HO Europe and Germany, the Khalsa Raj Gurdwara in Virginia, the GRDA Gurdwara in Boizenburg.
Our goal is to match this amount with your donation.

Oksanna, a Kundalini Yoga teacher from Lutsk in Ukraine, her student Inna and Max, a friend of theirs, travelled 500 km to meet us in Lviv. They expressed their concern that the International Sangat was not aware of the current situation, as they could not find any information on websites or social networks.
We took them to the warehouse in Lviv to receive our truck which had just arrived from Germany with 16 tonnes of supplies. This aid was bought half by 3HO Europe and international sangat donors. We hope that these shipments will be made every week or so now. They were so touched and relieved to know their 3HO community had taken action. I must say we were genuinely humbled to see so much faith and gratitude from them and all the other people we met today who have benefited from our supplies (which seems like a drop in the bucket given the need). Please donate so we keep on trucking! |

Europe is seeing the largest refugee crisis since World War II, and over the past weeks our organizations have worked together to provide aid to the heart of Ukraine, where it's most needed. Just this week, a 16 Ton shipment of fresh and canned food, or about 100,000 meals was delivered by our team to the Western Ukrainian City of Lviv, with its very large refugee population and a logistics distribution network that supplies much of the country. In less than three days, our food had made its way to Bucha, which had just been liberated from military occupation, and where countless civilians were found dead in the streets and in mass graves. Simran Singh Stuelpnagel takes up the astonishing story of his journey through a war zone in search of the scriptures. Read more...

“To see these people just like us with only a backpack, leaving their country, homes, families, and friends, for the unknown, made us very humble in our effort to help them. On the highway we met other people, simple citizens, who had taken the initiative to help families by transporting them. Just like at the post-border centers, where the volunteers told me that dozens of private cars had come from Spain, Italy, Switzerland, France, Holland, from all over Europe with food and medicine.” Read more...

A daring rescue of sacred Sikh scriptures and prayerbooks took place on March 25, 2022. As Odessa residents began defense preparations against imminent attack by Russian forces following the siege of nearby Mariupol, the recovery of religious scriptures and artifacts from the gurdwara building in Odessa became a priority for Sikhs. In an incredible act of sewa, Simran Singh Stuelpnagel, the Global Affairs Advisor of Sikh Dharma International, retrieved Sainchain (scriptures) and Gutke (prayer books) from Gurdwara Sahib Odessa located in the Ukrainian War zone, and brought them safely across the border, carrying them respectfully above his head for miles on foot.
